Back in the 23rd and 5th.. there was this incident.

Somewhere in Ramadhan, I was Tagged by Bayah to fulfil this instruction. I was busy back then and promise her to get to it once I got my things done and since then, I never did able to get to it until now.

These are the instructions..

1. Delve into your blog archive.
2. Find your 23rd post (or closest to).
3. Find the fifth sentence (or closest to).
4. Post the text of the sentence in your blog along with these instructions. Ponder it for meaning, subtext or hidden agendas.
5. Tag five people to do the same.

And after 10 minutes of browsing the old files, here is what I got to provide according to the instructions..

On my 23rd Post which was somewhere last year, my 5th sentence (Mind you, I'm not sure if I count it correctly) is..

A few collegues already gave me the same remark.. "you're wondering off!!.. you're not focussed!" or "you're mind is elsewhere".

Hmm.. ok. That's not a good sentence to be reminded of. Anyway, it's the past. It's something that I've dealt on. Subconciously, I am in a way, frustrated with the overall situation back in my old workplace. Many decisions seems ridiculous, many responses seems superficial.

I guess it make me sick to see how shallow people can be by making attempts of looking and appearing as if when they are the nicest, loveliest and most civilised human being among us. It's sickening when it is obvious, that deep inside, all they care is to be among the people they called 'elites'.

I'm sorry, display of artificial affection is sickening. Trying to gain what you don't earn is even worse.. and I'm happy to know, that some of you might just have to be out of jobs.

Thank you for the experience. At least from where I am now, I will surely do my best to avoid sweet talking 'corporate leeces' to be in our team. I am very satisfied with the outcome.

OK, here's the 5 lucky (or not)people to be tagged by me..

1. Ms Binx of Rhumba Addict
2. Ubisetela of Kiwi Kasu.. er... Kiwi land. (no have to do this)
3. Teek of Heads full of Tick. (no excuse for you too..)
4. Anisism the Bibik of Architecture
5. Slyn of Micheal Bolton Fan Club (hehehe.. my turn to tag you)

Go ahead... get yourself ready and work on the Meme. Since you already know what's the hidden meaning from that sentence, I hope people will realise by now that, whenever you meet people who put their heart and soul to anything that they do... DO NOT TRY TO MESS WITH THEM..

p.s Please, look at this entry as another joke made by humans. Seriously, it is funny to see people so shallow in life (eh? did I say funny or pity? )

If I should stumble on my moment in time

I don't really admire American bands. To me British and Europe have much better bands. Thanks to MTV, kids nowadays don't realise that. The music now have less value, not many bands have solid music knowledge and ideas and hip hop is the ultimate way of life.. (haha.. they must be joking..)

Anyway, one American Band is exceptional though, this is definitely one talented group. Every member of this band are great in their own way. (hey, that sounds like The Beatles..)

Oh well, to Eric Martin, Paul Gilbert, Billy Sheehan and Pat Torpey..
please.. please.. please.. reunite for once and come back to KL for another concert. (agak-agak dia baca tak??..hahaha)

Watch the video, listen to the song, read the lyrics.. and enjoy Mr Big. (see.. even SATC took the name as character..hahahah)

Goin' Where The Wind Blows - Mr Big

Someone said life is for the taking
Here I am with my hand out waiting for a ride
I've been living on my great expectations
What good is it when I'm stranded here
And the world just passess by
Where are the signs to help me get out of this place

If I should stumble on my moment in time,
How will I know
If the story's written on my face, does it show
Am I strong enough to walk on water
Smart enough to come in out of the rain
Or am I a fool going where the wind blows

Here I sit halfway to somewhere
Thinking about what's in front of me
and what I left behind
On my own, supposed to be so easy
Is this what I've been after
Or have I lost my mind
Maybe this is my chance coming to take me away

If I should stumble on my moment in time,
How will I know
If the story's written on my face, does it show
Am I strong enough to walk on water
Smart enough to come in out of the rain
Or am I a fool going where the wind blows

Here I am walking naked through the world
Taking up space, society's child
Make room for me, make room for me,
make room for me

Am I strong enough to walk on water
Smart enough to come in out of the rain
Or am I a fool
Going where the wind blows
Going where the wind blows
Going where the wind blows
Going where the wind blows

p.s Thanks for the 'makan' invitations..Those invitations on 26th, I'm really sorry that I can't make it. (I'll be in Seremban that day) Those invitations on 27th, I'll be doing marathon to attend all. Nyeh Nyeh Nyeh.. anybody following?

.. the moral of the story is...

Can I do my catwalk now?

I would like to wish Ika in Singapore and my pet-sis Lisa in Alor Star, SELAMAT PENGANTIN BARU!! last weekend. To Ika, I got your invitation card, I know I promise to attend the wedding and I even planned my trip to Singapore last weekend. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the plans at the very last minute due to my work (what can I say? I'm married to my work..)

Anybody remembers reading Aesop Fables when you're a kid? Anybody remember listening to Malay folklores like Mat Jenin, Si Luncai and Lebai Malang? Remember how these stories have affected us in a way or another? How in any Fables, fairytales or folklore arond the world, shared one thing in common.. "all stories have moral values to share in all those stories.."

Now, let's take the same formula to practice. Read a book, watch a movie, listen to the music.. and try figure out the 'moral of the story' from each examples that I've been watching throughout the weekend.

TROY : You can kill her people, you can kill her cousin and still be love and forgiven by the woman only and ONLY. if you're Brad Pitt.. (orang lain jangan, mondok ternakan dia mati sekor pun, dia tak ampun sampai mati)

THE UNTOUCHABLES : You can topple down a Mafia Boss but you need lots of sacrifices. (Nasib baik it's not Brad Pitt as the Mafia Boss, or you can just forget it. You're the evil man to blame if he's caught guilty)

WIGAN ATHLETIC vs ARSENAL : It pays to be rich and famous, even the commentator's remark on the game will intentionally be on your side. It works even better to public's eye if you're rich and handsome (eh wait.. if you're rich, you're handsome to their eyes already. Forget about my last line...)

MANCHESTER UNITED vs CHARLTON ATHLETIC : (all together now..) GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!! GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!! (hahah.. gila bias..) Nah.. same moral of the story above applied.

MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS : Don't worry if you curse, swear or harass anybody sexually on TV. You have all the elements to get away from it (rich, handsome, popular).. They'll love you.

Enough examples for now... What's your moral of the story?

Eat your heart out. I'm the new supermodel!

p.s Read, listen, ponder and learn from those folklores and fables. You'll understand the basic nature of human are good and full of moral values.

Do NOT read beauty magazine it will only make you feel UGLY!

For my passion of music, for my interest in movies, for my believe in creativity..I've always admired the works of Baz Luhrman. I like all his works. I know I might not seen all of it but at least from what he did in Romeo and Juliet, Strictly Ballroom and the famous remake of Moulin Rouge, this man is awesome. Actually, even the word 'awesome' is still an understatement.. He is beyond awesome with regards to his work.

So for the weekend. I present to you another creative work of Baz Luhrman. His speech song from 1999 .. Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)

Baz Luhrmann - Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)

Ladies and Gentlemen of the class of ’99,
if I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be it. The long-term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience…
I will dispense this advice now.

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh nevermind; you will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded. But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked….
You’re not as fat as you imagine.

Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday.

Do one thing everyday that scares you

Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with people who are eckless with yours.

Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with yourself.
Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you succeed in doing this, tell me how.
Keep your old love letters; throw away your old bank statements.

Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your life…the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don’t.
Get plenty of calcium.

Be kind to your knees, you’ll miss them when they’re gone.

Maybe you’ll marry, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll have children, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll divorce at 40, maybe you’ll dance the funky chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary…what ever you do, don’t congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either – your choices are half chance, so are everybody else’s. Enjoy your body, use it every way you can…don’t be afraid of it, or what other people
think of it, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever own..

Even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room.

Read the directions, even if you don’t follow them.

Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.

Get to know your parents; you never know when they’ll be gone for good.
Be nice to your siblings; they are the best link to your past and the people most likely to stick with you in the future.

Understand that friends come and go, but for the precious few you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you knew when you were young.

Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard; live in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.

Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were noble and children respected their elders.
Respect your elders.

Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one might run out.

Don’t mess too much with your hair, or by the time you're 40, it will look 85.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.

But trust me on the sunscreen…

p.s Have a wonderful weekend ahead people. Give a thought of what's been presented by Baz Luhrman. It's quite interesting.

Better when I'm older... woohooo...

I'll Be - Edwin McCain

LATEST UPDATE : I've found the video I've been looking for!!.. HERE IT IS.. 'I'll Be' by Edwin McCain..

I've been dropped out, burned up,
fought my way back from the dead
Tuned in, turned on,
Remembered the things that you said
- I'll Be (Edwin McCain)

Been a while since I put a video up didn't I? So, here's an old video that caught my attention. A really nice video. Personally, I prefer this song more than his other singles, but that does not mean this song is less of quality in any way..

p.s Oh God, I got another Meme to fulfill. Will put that up soon. OK Bayah? Yours is kinda hard you know..

Schizophernia is a very hard word to spell..

How do you feel if the house that you live in now, actually does not exist in the real world?

What would you do if you realise the best friend that you had all this while, is actually somebody who only exist in your mind?

Have you ever think about the possibility that this world you live might be one big illusion?

How do you react if the person who wrote this entry you're reading, died 2 years ago?

Hehehe.. Just kidding la.. (have I screwed up your mind yet? Hope not..)

Oh well, I'm back in Mud Valley, where the city pretends to understand its populations..(apa aku merepek ni??) Anyway, I'm back since Monday morning. In an attempt to avoid those ridiculous traffic going towards KL on the expressway, (and by that, I wonder why we call it 'express'way at that moment) I start my journey back from JB at 11:30pm, reaching the house in KL at about 3am which officially ended my 5-days holiday.

In a nutshell, my Aidilfitri this year is slightly below personal satisfactory level compared to previous years. And the reason behind it all was due to the limited time spared for this year's celebration. What happened next was a chain reaction from the one month stint of production.

No, I didn't manage to visit all my relatives. I didn't manage to recover from work exhaustion either.

Oh yeah, my 2 adorable nieces are more hyperactive than ever. I rarely get a space of my own back in JB from the moment they woke up till the time they go to sleep. Oh well, here are their pictures..

p.s Those house I've promise to visit for raya. Don't worry, raya sebulan kan? I'll try to make it.. OH, I'm happy to attend any open house if invited..hahaahha..
