Welcome back F1 fans. Did you manage to watch the race last Sunday? That was an interesting race isn't it? With Button surprise lead, Raikonnen out of the race at the very first lap. Fisichella winning instead of Alonso, Massa in front of Schumacher, Ferrari taking the top ten spots after starting the race from behind and BMW Sauber making a competitive runs against the other top teams. Is what a race that you can't really predict till the end of the last lap. What more could you ask to watch a great race?
I am a Ferrari fan, and I still do. Still, I salute to Renault team for the 1-2 victory. I also salute to BMW Sauber for a convincing performance. (that engine blow on the 49th lap is way better than hitting the fence on 1st lap.. hehe). BUT BUT.. The one person (or team.. I don't know) that we should salute and maybe give a standing ovation throughout the race would be our very own Weather Consultant or 'Bomoh Hujan' as we call them in Malay.
So here's my respect to BOMOH HUJAN. Without them, the track would be really wet, the race would be uninteresting and maybe, more people would just go elsewhere and not be watching F1 on TV (trust me, the couch in front of the TV is the BEST grand stand)
Even the two commentators on TV thought it was weird to see the rain drizzling and stop for less than 2 minutes..
So, Mr Bomoh Hujan.. You have made us Malaysians proud. More than any other Malaysian involvement in the F1.
