Backstage of Anugerah Juara Lagu.. It was during the 'Glam Walk' as they call it that my eyes suddenly focused on the news crawler below the pre-show, "gegaran 7.2 richter di sulawesi. Jabatan Meteorologi telah meletak amaran Tsunami.." and suddenly, I don't bother to know anything else but that. Make a few calls and SMS to those I worried about just to be sure things are OK first before get back to whatever happening there.
It come to me that all these incidents.. the flood, the change of weather, the earthquake are not just scientific mishaps. God is there and this is His warning. As we still cheat the public to make more profit for our own sake. As we keep on making friends to those who only brings material benefit to us, and while we making money and popularity under the banner of charity.
I'm sure inside each and every one of us there is still that place where we would want people to love us as much as we want to love them, but capitalism and the need to prove ourselves worthy through numerical figures push that part aside.
Don't worry, If you have not taken someone else's rights.. could it be food, could it be money or maybe their last hope to survival.. then you're safe. But, if you already did.. would you have time to seek for forgiveness from them if such mishaps happens here in a blink?
Think about it.. and while you're at it, this is a video by Boys II Men, who did make an impact to the local RnB fans. (Hey, we end up having a Innuendo a few years after that)
