If there's any movie that I would recommend you to watch within this few week, Stranger Than Fiction would be it.
It's a great movie with superb scripts, excellent casts and definitely too intelligent to be co-branded with any Malaysian corporate products. (Idiotic-but-cool is the way to be in Malaysia).
I watched this movie last night on a midnight show. The cinema was half empty. (I could say it half full but I don't want to encourage such results here..) I'm sure that's the result of not having any real promotions for the movie. Not being able to be labeled as a chic flick on Valentines day as well as no macho special effect and sex scenes would be the reason why it is not deemed as a movie to watch compared to Epic Movie..
Seriously, having Will Farrell along with great screen actors like Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson, blended with a superb script.. makes this movie a great one for anybody who have brains and embrace life to watch.
If you fall under those categories of human beings in Malaysia, do watch this movie. In the mean time, enjoy the trailer.
