Do you stay or run away and leave it all behind?

When you take the risk to make a change, you will never know what would it be after that. To most people, that's a risk they will never dare to take.



Come on, look at it this way. It's a 50-50 chance. Meaning, as much as you're worried that there's a 50% chance that you might fail, there's also that 50% chance that you will SUCCEED. So, why would you think about the failure more than the success? You could at least give an equal chance to both and just make that change.

For once, I've never felt much happier than now. I know this time I got my goals and dreams really clear. I know that this would be a start to a much bigger things and more meaningful things in life than I ever imagine before.

I know all that because I took a dive to change. I took a chance to see if I can get the 50% chance that I will be successful in life

I know success in terms of materials and all glitters that the magazine been associated with success is still far from reach. But at least I know, I'm a much happier person now.

Happy with a peace of mind, heart and soul.

That's for a start. There're more to come.

Advice is a form of nostalgia..

This entry is definitely a rerun, a refreshal reminder to you and me. I first wrote something about this speech song in somewhere in 2005. Then somewhere in 2006, I wrote some other opinion based on this song.



This year, I would like remind all of us again on some excerpts from this song.

Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with people who are reckless with yours.

Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes you’re behind…The race is long, and in the end, it’s only with yourself.

Understand that friends come and go, but for the precious few you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you knew when you were young.

Do one thing everyday that scares you.

And I guess I'd rather die than fade away..

I've been slow on blogging aren't I? Not that I have nothing to write anymore. I have too many. Yet, I the last few weeks makes blogging not on top priority for now. Too many things to do, too many things to think about and there are plans to be made for the next step in life.



I think I've rambled a lot about all of us being slaves to own so-called 'life'. About not having the chance to really make our own choice in life and about being free from being dictated by situations and other circumstances..

I guess I should not ramble about that anymore.

I'm making my moves towards that. No more bullshit. No more excuses from idiots holds top post in any Management. No more old-school dirty tactics of looking good by doing bad things to others.. I decide what I want.

And if you're ready to take that jump. YOU come and see me. We'll talk on that.

It's like The Matrix.. It's the point where you choose the red pill or the blue pill. Your pick decides where you want to be.

Do you have the guts to take the leap? I'm very sure, most of you DON'T!!

How la like that...??

OK, It's obvious I've been neglecting to update the blog for more than a week. (so much for the daily blog update new year resolution..damn..)



Wait, I don't regret it at all. I spent time at the beach (No.. not that SPG looking for Mat Salleh club). Seriously.. The beach at Bagan Lalang. Those of you who have not been there, you should do so while it's still not being spoilt badly by the media publicity for commercialism and kiasu public that follows everything the media shove to their ass.

Enough of that. It's now another weekend. How wonderful!!

and I got a few questions for all of you..

How high would you jump to achieve your dreams?

How far would you go to be with the people that matters to you?

What's mine is yours to make your own

What makes any new band, a good band? Better still, what makes any new band a great band?



I've been asked this question many times by many upcoming talents. I've also asked the same question to many established producers before.

A great band are bands who can play the music tight, as a group. They have good songs on their album and they can perform well. Most importantly, they have their own identity which, they did not copy from any other band. (With that, a band who have a song '8 days a week' on their album in any other language is till considered having NO IDENTITY)

Generally, that's the criteria of a great band. Until, I found a new one for the list.

OK, 2 nights ago, while driving on my way somewhere around Bandar Tun Razak, I heard a song on the radio. Being very ignorant about the latest news on the music scene, I somehow end up singing along to this song that I don't know the title, the artiste or even where have I heard this song before. I definitely have no idea about this song.. yet, I got the lyrics right. To my thought, either this is a really good song that hooked to your soul or my psychic power just got better. (I prefer to think the later..)

As, the song finished, the announcer (Yes, they are just announcers.. not DJ. They don't really know music) mentioned the song was by this band called The Fray.

OK, so I know this band. But from another song. Not this one. Even so, I remember writing about the same incidents about the other single before.

This band now have 2 songs that successfully grab my attention without me even bother to know about them. That's interesting.

So, this is the song that somehow win over me last 2 nights. Tonight, it suddenly appeared in my head again and I just can't let it go. Damn.

Oh well, it's a good song. I might as well enjoy it right?

I'm declaring The Fray as the best new band the US had for now. All other band sounds so typical. (at least this one does not trying hard to sound like Eddie Vedder singing metal songs..)

Now, a great band is a band that can win your heart without trying hard to convince you. Even when you're not bother to know about them.

This is a test of faith. No, not that country singer with a Hill as her surname. Or the faith to God. I'm not going to touch on that matter.



This is the test of faith. It's a test to see how faithful you are to those you call 'family'. How far do you love them? How far can you go to believe in them? How far would you go to accept them the way they are.. AND how far would you let yourself down to tolerate the differences that occur within the family.

Give it a thought. Because the blind faith to family members is not a bad thing. In fact, that's what bind us together despite our differences.

Dream yourself a dream come true..

You got dreams don't you? No, not those having Brad or Angelina sleeping with you (having them both would be creepy) kind of dream. I'm talking about your ambition in life. Again, not to be confused with the 'Inspektor Polis' and 'Peramugari' kinda things that you told your primary school teacher back then.



Life achievements and personal merit that you would want to be or to have in the future.

As we passed those stage of 'Inspektor Polis', 'Jururawat', 'Peramugari' or even 'Drebar Treler' (after you watch BJ and The Bear series), we immediately exposed to the ideas of 'making a living', 'earning a living', 'developing a career' and 'be somebody'

With those ideas in added to our mind, we evolve to dream of being a lawyer, an accountant, a doctor or a 'majistret'. You might end up planning your way to achieve either onr of that.. OR you go get yourself one and get married to the person. (of which, failing to do achieve those targets would make you depressed until your face looks like that Mak Sabariah begging for mercy to Kassim)

Apa aku merepek ni? Oh well, do you consider yourself having a great career as what you believe back then? Have you achieve the life you've been dreaming before, such as having a justified income to live your life with your (not the bosses) family? Do you actually have the freedom to spend more quality time with your family with your earning? What about 'do things that you truly belive in'? Does your work permits you to speak your mind as a person hired to the company for their brains? Or is it vice versa... are your life being dictated by situations, surroundings and the people around you?

Are you living the life that you dream of at this very moment? If you don't.. then I challenge you to take the first step to pursue your dreams. What's been holding you back anyway?

Go ahead, think about it properly and make the move. Are you daring enough to decide for your own good?

In the end, it's simply a question of 'what do you want to do with your life?' Just like a song by Aerosmith, Just 'Dream On'..

We're part of a greater plan..

I stayed up to watch Spiderman 2. I've watched that movie a few times and somehow I don't really know what got me to stay up and watch it again on AXN until, the story comes to the part where Peter Parker's aunt says something about everybody needs a hero to inspire them to move on and hold on to their lives no matter how hard it can be. Something like that. That scene to me is really moving.



Yes, heroes to inspire. The definition varies from one person to another. The shallow minded will think Bullies like the army of a big nation as heroes. The even shallower minded would think heroes are only in comics. To the great minds, heroes can be found in every person who have a big heart. The heart of ordinary people that is even bigger than the person they are.

Malaysians unfortunately, did not embrace any of those ideas. Heroes for Malaysians are people who are not among us. The outsiders, the other powers, The other nation. (do not ask me to elaborate on this, you already been given a brain to think.. so think..)

Even when we have our local heroes, we always have that tendency to single them out. For example.. Hang Tuah is the hero, the rest of his fellowship are not. P Ramlee is the hero, the rest of Jalan Ampas clan are not. (The person who wrote the book on them both, do not try to look for ways to sue me.. jangan jadi melayu tipikal)

Those are some of the examples.

But wouldn't it be great if we acknowledge that there are more heroes of their own class in our community? If heroes are there to inspire, then more local heroes would also means more avenue to seek for inspiration?

Wouldn't it be great if we could just be a nation who creates a group of heroes and proud of it? (No, not that superficial spend-the-people's-money world record kind..)

It's all in the mindset. Unless, you're greedy, selfish and self-centered.. You would not agree with this idea. Maybe planning to kill me after reading this..( I'm paranoid? With the situation around me, why shouldn't I? )

Ignore the remarks. Are you ready to have more heroes among us? You could be one of them.
