Sebelum Labuh Tirai Malam..

This would be my last entry for 2005. This might as well be a recap of happenings around me within this year.

It has been a great year. Full ups and down as usual, but as a whole, life has never been better. Either it is way better than before or maybe just slightly better is not an issue here. As long as there're progress in life, I'm thankful to God for the blessings I've received this year.

I've seen successes before my eyes with the friends from Bhumiband bagged 3 awards at the APM at the early part of the year. I'm also happy to know that I am a part of history that been made this year, directly or indirectly.

I've met so many long lost friends this year. Some that I've not met since graduation. I have to admit, I was the one who's been avoiding many of them due to my decision to take different path in life. At least now, they can see what I've become by chosing these paths. (There's reasons to all of it my friend)

Hey, I've also met new friends this year. From all over the place. Some that I met online (2/3 of my life spent online this year.. *I assume*), Some of you knew me face to face in the 'real' world..

To all of you. It has been wonderful knowing everybody. I hope it will not stop there.

2005 also give a distinctive mark to me and the team here. We started operating with a proper office on 1st January. Opening the year with only three of us in the company, with only 3 PCs, a printer, desks and a 14-inch TV in the office. A humble start for huge ambition to build what others think at that moment (maybe they still think..) crazy, ridiculous and impossible dream. Well, I'm proud to say that, this office will turn 1 this Sunday. Our crazy, ridiculous and impossible dream seems worth every risk and effort that we took. We're now with proper facilities, about 20-odd staffs and we don't think we have begin fully operational yet.. The best is yet to come.. and more surprises to go...

With that, I'm thankful to God, for my only resolution this year is to be better and keep seeking to be better. As far as I'm concern, I've achieved that.

I'll end this year's entry with a video. I personally like this video. It's a soundtrack for an Indinesian Movie 'GIE'.. and this is the lyric to end it all

akan aku telusuri
jalan yg setapak ini
semoga kutemukan jawaban..

Love this lovely lady with all my heart

I had a long weekend off the office. *hooray to 'off the office'* but not really off from work. You know, it's easy to take leave a day or two when you're 100% working for others. But in my case, you'll tend to worry more about the work because the rise and fall of the company is somewhat depends on you. (OK.. enough about work)

Yesterday, brings different meanings to each and everyone of us in the world. We are reminded of the biggest tragedy of Tsunami, which in a way 'celebrates' it's birthday. Medias around the world did not miss to cover the story it. Some review the progress we made after one year of the incident. Some look into possibilities of how we can contribute further to help those affected places.

Still, as far as I can channel surfing over the remote control, none actually remind us of our reaction, our human instinct on giving, sharing, helping and tolarating each other.. making sure that lives are saved disregard of their race, status or religion. We do whatever we can to ease their pain. We care more about them than we actually care about ourselves. AND THAT, my friend, is what we should be reminding ourselves everyday. HOW did we actually do that? and WHY is that, when every effort is done.. and time goes by, we suddenly change, with most of us turn into the ugly personality who only cares about themselves more than others? I wonder.

As for me, 26th Dec has always been meaningful to me. Always has and always be, as it is the birthdate of the most lovely lady that I've ever known. She's wonderful to everybody who knows her. She's strong in dealing with everyday life especially, when dealing with her bowel cancer. She's the love of everybody in the family.

This year, she's enjoying a 5-day trip (since last Friday) in Kuching, Sarawak where she celebrated her birthday yesterday with her husband, her two granddaughters, as well as one of her son and her daughter-in-law. I'm sure she had a Great time of her life there.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA.. I know I can't be there with everybody, (and I'm truly jealous of that..) but nobody can take away my love for you. Wishing and praying all the wonderful things to happen for you from this day onwards.. Much better than what you already have. HAPPY BIRTHDAY..

p.s Hey, 2005 is about to close it's curtain. Have you reviewed all your resolutions for this year?

She's Back!! ..She's Back!!

You read comics before right? (come on, unless you're a useless freak.. then maybe, you never once like to read comic..) Any comics.. Beano, Tin-tin, Archie's, Calvin & Hobbes, X-Men, Mad Magazine.. Any kind. Till the Malaysian comic to the likes of Gila-gila, Ujang, Gelihati (ada lagi ke?) or the Malaysian godfather of cartoon, Dato' Lat. I'm sure you've read at least half of what I've listed.

Now, remember the glory days of Ujang. Can you remember the characters in those Magazine? From the mascot of Din Beramboi, the 'mat rempit' of Cupin. And then the Beautiful girl with 'tudung' with the name Kartini. Anybody remembers that?

I'm back..

Remember me??

Well, Kartini is back! After a few years disapearing from the scene, she's back with the latest update in her life. She's now with us here. Thanks to the creator of the character, Azhar Ahmad (better known as Tembakau or Aryone by friends) who is a member of the content development team, you'll see the new Kartini in the new environment.

COMING SOON (in any way we want it to be..) 2006

All the smiles that are ever gonna haunt me

Well,At the end of the world
Or the last thing I see
You are
Never coming home
Never coming home
Could I?
Should I?
And all the things that you never ever told me
And all the smiles that are ever gonna haunt me
- Ghost of You (My Chemical Romance)

It's 6:15am, I've not sleep for about 24 hours now and I am still not sleepy. Blame it on insomniac.. The truth is, I've been worrying about meeting my own deadlines on one project, which I set to get it done by next Monday. On top of that, I was given less than 24 hours notice that I will be conducting an exclusive interview with Yvonne Ridley later this evening.

For those of you who are not familiar with Yvonne Ridley, was the award-winning British journalist, a chief reporter for the Sunday Express who, 3 years ago was captured Taliban for sneaking into Afghanistan with a camera, only to be released 10 days later. A year after the release, she converted into Islam and since then, actively campaigning for humanitarian and anti-war.

NOW, with such background behind her, HOW CAN I NOT BE NERVOUS??

May this be another wonderful journey in my life experience..

The Last Samurai??

Peduli apa kalau kali ni I'm in vain... I'm HAPPY!! HAPPY!!

My new toy has arrived. And I'm placing it right on my work desk, here in the office.

AND No, I don't have any problems with others who tried to bring us down. NOT AT ALL.. It's just a 3 piece Samurai Sword to show.

Faded Innocence..

They say that as we get older, we'll be wiser. We are also made to believe that since we're wiser than before, we might as well be mature. Hence, we are definitely better than we are before.

A friend forwarded this photos to me. Usually, I would ignore most of the forwarded emails but this one did caught my attention. Photos of letters made by kids to God. Yup, it may sound weird to many of us. Better still, as we read all their letters, wierd is no longer the feeling we get but we laugh at how funny the content of the letters are. Immediately, all we have in mind are how cute the kids are at that moment. We imagine how innocent they are, how cute the situation be and how pure their hearts to come up with such thing.

Now, imagine again, what happened to those pure hearts, to the innocence and those superb attitute in facing everydays life that we once had in us? Are those values that was given to us from birth, does not mean anything to life of adulthood?

Which brings back to the issue of being wiser and better as we get older. Are we really that wise and better?

Sometimes, there's many things we can learn from these kids.

p.s There's like 21 photos of those letters. I only show 3 here. To see the rest, click to my FOTOPAGES.

An event to mark our existance

Not much nonsense this week eh? I've been busy preparing for the our event at KL tower on 1st December. On Monday and Tuesday, we did a studio shoot for our video ID of the Channel. By the end of the 2 days, we completed the video and here it is, the same video we show on the night at KL Tower.

Free video hosting, video codes at

Well, it could have been better. I know I can do better that. But, for a quick production which is almost faster than fast-food industry itself, that's the best for a production juggling between other tasks.

Here are some of the photos from the event that night, which was held at Megaview Deck, KL Tower. For more photos, just click to my FOTOPAGES

What do you think?
