ATTENTION MOVIE GOERS.. This has just came in..
I don't know what got them thinking that would be the ultimate and effective way to inculcate sense of patriotism to every Malaysians but, my shallow guess would be, what other way can make them popular without having they themselves having to do anything physically?..
Just imagine, you walk into a cinema, with the mind set eagerly to watch a horror movie. Suddenly, right before they begin the movie, you heard this sound of brass band music, and everybody have to stand up and sing 'Negaraku' together.
As a result, when the movie starts, you are all hyped up with patriotism to watch a horror movie. Cool isn't it?
Try feeling all patriotic to watch a romantic movie. Or maybe, feeling all patriotic to watch a comedy. Sounds fun isn;t it? Sounds almost similar to the topic 'Sex Education in the mood of Sesame Street' proposed in the show 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' hosted by Drew Carrey...
THE CONCLUSION? Maybe it's just another idea to fit in the tag-line of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway'..
WHERE EVERYTHING'S MADE UP AND POINTS DON'T MATTER
Have a wonderful weekend ahead everybody.

KUALA LUMPUR: Movie-goers may have to stand up and sing the national anthem before the start of the film as a mark of respect and appreciate the Negaraku campaign conducted by the Information Ministry.
Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Arshad Hashim said cinemas were being encouraged to play the anthem after all commercials and movie trailers were shown.
